1,000 Websites Making $1.00 A Day.

This month I had to kill one of my very best campaigns. Conversions dropped EPC dropped and the way it was running it just couldn’t be profitable anymore. It’s sad to see it go since it was a large part of my income. Which is leading me to a problem I have been having recently with affiliate marketing. Offers.

Every network I am a member of is pushing the same stuff. (so it seems) When I look at my options all I see is Grants, Work At Home, Teeth Whiting, Acai, and Wrinkle/Anti-Aging. All of which are negative option billing offers, which seems to be becoming the way of things now a days.  From what I can tell there is some serious money behind all of these offers which is why they are so huge now. But I just can’t seem to bring myself to promoting them.  I just can’t seem to motivate myself to sell these products and I am having no moments of inspiration on how to promote them.

So I have taken it upon my self to go back to my old niche finding ways and promote the weirdest shit I can find. I want the offers that no one else is on! Or at least not millions of herd blogs. This should make things easier for me with less competition for traffic should mean a larger share of the profits. But I am just not seeing the same diversity that I used to when I first started in AM over a year ago. Where am I going to find these offers?

Which brings me to today. This morning I thought to my self what if I just had 1,000 websites that made $1.00 a day? That’s 365,000 a year – 10,000 on domains, and say 1,200 on hosting. Leaving me 353,500 in cash at the end of the year.  Well shit that sounds easy enough…. If I was to attempt this crazy but simple idea I could make my websites about anything I want. Heck even adsense ads could result in $1 a day per domain.  So any cpa offers or other ads/links I could earn out of it would be more cash. Even better is if 1 site goes nuts and makes like $50 a day!

Now this idea is sounding better and better in the back of my head. I already have a lot of domains…many still unused and many not even making that $1.00.  Now I want to know how I am going to undertake this somewhat massive project…

Ive decided to use a few of the tools I have acquired to help out. Namely WFReview (WFReview Coupon), BANS, and PHPBay. If I could send enough traffic to eBay and adsense and pump out these sites uber fast using these scripts this just might be possible! I can pump out 1-2 full sites a day using these tools with out much of a problem.

So each day this week I have started upon this nuts idea and I have built 6 new websites.  Its going to be hard going over so many niches and I highly doubt ill get to 1,000 sites but if I keep going it should get easier and easier as I stream line the process. Wish me luck as I think I may have gone insane!

    Brilliant idea!

Bad idea. It would be way easier to do 25 sites @ $40 a day. They be able to scale faster because you can devote time to developing each one, and their value will be worth more in the long run.

It really wouldn’t be hard to get to $40 a day with organic traffic, if you spent the time developing the site. Then, if you get bored you can just sell your site on sitepoint and cash out.

Really this is not that possible – unless you rotate PLR articles and publish them. Unless you are a genius pumping up new content for 1000 websites won’t be easy. I like Davids idea much better. Also you will be more devoted to those blogs and have more time to work on them! Anyway good luck!

I some what agree with David. I think you are definitely headed in the right direction. Maybe even if just halved that to 500 domains earning $2/day. That is a lot less work when it comes to maintaining them and your chances of having a couple earn over $50/day is greater with better content.

Yes or just 100 websites making $10 a day will be much more possible. I’m pretty sure you can go with 10 websites for one niche – and you must be able to talk about atleast 10 subject with basic knowledge, hell make a pack of alcohol websites, one for beer, wine, vodka, etc!

(sound of me jumping on the pile) – they’re right. What you’re saying is sound logic but implementing or sustaining the success of those sites would be far more difficult than if you narrowed it down.

i am doing this too. the hard part is not making websites the hard part is SEO. that is the time consuming thing. even with content, phpbay, you still need alot of links to get the thing moving. and for every site you make, that month there will be 4 more competitors sites of various angles. so i say good luck, but my be part time income when all said and done, and not 300k.

I started doing a project like this about 2 years ago with rss scraper sites. These sites were being autoposted to daily. I got over 1000 done.
Some notes on what I learned: don’t waste your time with .info domains. I got a bunch of cheap .99 .info’s from godaddy and these seemed to be very hard to get deep indexed.
I registered some with domain privacy and some without. I did not interlink any of the sites and they were spread across 14 ip’s. The ones without domain privacy got dropped from the index within a few months. It seems G got wind of my little “network” and used whois to connect the dots.
I had a .com domain with over 5,000 pages indexed; it had privacy lock and it stayed in the index for over 2 years. The niche was technology/tech news. With adsense running on it, It got only about 400-500 views per month generating about $10-12 /mo.
As one commenter mentioned, I think one issue is backlinks. Without lots of them, ranking and therefore traffic sucks.
Another issue I had was coming up with RSS feeds. My network ran across many niches. Getting feeds/content was a big pain.
I plan on doing it again, on a smaller scale, and using what I learned. Your post inspired me. ;-)

Hit me up on AIM or email. I know of some software that does this shiznit automatically. You can literally launch and deploy 1000 blogs in 10 minutes. The software is a little pricey though.

This is very similar to one of my goals with one of the website publishing companies I own (I am currently around 700 domains with about 400 of them developed and making money).

Although I know everyone here is trying to be helpful, I think there should be a bit more positive reinforcement.

I’ve been basically doing just this for the past couple months (mostly building the hell out of phpbay sites). True, it’s no easy task to get 1,000 sites to rank and make $30/mo, but it’s not impossible. It’s not like he’s just shooting blindly in the dark. It sounds like he’s researching the niche and finding stuff with little competition that he can dominate. I have several phpbay sites that make a few bucks a day that I haven’t touched in a very long time. However, I did put a significant amount of work into them to begin with.

BANS are getting deindexed by Google there fore I cant imagine how you can make $1 per day!
what will phpbay do to you? nothing. How is it different from buildablogstore.com? It isnt. Recently saw a build a blog store listing on 2nd page, just in 2 wks of domain sighup. Guess what, 2 wks later it was deindexed by google. Why?

Google just hates BANS like stores with ebay and amazon affiliate program.

As far as WFReview for wordpress is concerned, I would like to see some successes. What does it take to be successful?

your link 25% discount doesnt work. The price with or without your code is $139.99
please let us know the new code.

Seriously – do it. I did it myself, and it works. I didn’t do 1,000 sites, more like a few dozen that average $5-$7 a day or so.

My approach was exact-match domains for low volume terms in high dollar niches. Buy articles on the cheap (wickedfire, or textbroker.com) load on directory/social bookmark submissions, repeat.

I’m sure you already know this…. but look closely at CJ. Hell, even the GuitarCenter affiliate program itself can result in thousands of different shit to promote.
