Finding a Niche for Noobs & Pros

Everyday I see people on forums and chat rooms going on about getting started with eBay or some random other affiliate program. They go on about not knowing what a niche is and how they can’t figure this stuff out.

So here you go, I am giving out ANOTHER free niche that you can try or use as an  example. I am losing possible $ giving this out so you better learn something from it!

I was dicking around on eBay looking for some thing to show this dude that weird food crap that I used to see years ago. Like food shaped like shit. (No this is not the niche) While digging though the weird shit section of eBay I kept finding funny shit to post in the chatroom and then I came across a product that claimed to restore your foreskin if you had been circumcised. Item linked here. Ok so now we have a weird ass contraption that is going to stretch your penis to give you foreskin again. What a fucking joke.. or is it.

After seeing such a stupid ass item I popped it into wordtracker. The results can be found here. Amazingly enough there is actually search volume for this shit!  470 search for this one keyword example. You can guess other ones… foreskin, circumcised, shit like that. I bet you could come up with a pretty good KW list with some decent search volume.

Now we go to Google and check this stuff out our selves. Holy shit the ad block is full! Some are shit ads like eBay and Amazon but that is a sure sign of cheap ass clicks. I wont give the link out but I even found a few landing pages. Now this is to great… how the hell has this gone unnoticed! Oh I know…because it’s a fucking niche!

Yes that’s right THIS is a niche,  wii is not, cameras is not, electronics shit is not. All that stuff is lame as shit and is only good for noobs wasting money. You need to go deep people!  I have an uncle that has a factory that makes plastic buckets for chirst sake and he is loaded.  This is truly what a niche is make note of it!

Now I just gave out a perfectly good niche that I almost decided to run myself due to its awesomeness but I need content for the blog and im busy with other shit. So now that you have this great niche with little competition and cheap clicks.  But now you need a product to promote.

Well from looking at the current ads your options are to find these contraptions, use eBay, or do what they are already doing. I noticed the guys already there are selling ebooks so I hit up clickbank which is famous for shitty ebooks and guess what.  There it is, the same damn ebook they are selling with a $13 payout! See the ebooks here.

So you now have the niche, the keywords and the product. There is currently probably about 3 people in this niche judging from the ads. Lord only knows how long they have been chilling there banking on this obscure shit. For you 3 guys already in there I am sorry. I hope you are not counting on this paying your rent.

Now go make money and find real niches, they are everywhere.

Don’t lie… you gave away this niche because you didn’t want to be known as the “foreskin promoter”

Great example of a good niche for new people, although personally I would not want to sell that. Check out my blog for an upcoming guide about finding niches.

    Nice and simple explanation. Thanks.

What do you do when you find a niche but there is no affiliate program to promote?

Its nearly impossible to find a niche with no affiliate program. There is always one somewhere you just need to look harder.

    1) Check networks CJ, ShareASale, CPA Networks all the ones your a member of. Do a product search on CJ if its an item.
    2) Search for the item like you were going to buy it, find all the stores/sites that sell the thing and scroll down to the footer of the page and see if there is an “affiliate” link.
    3) If these both failed you didn’t look hard enough. But now you can check eBay to see if anyone is selling the item there.
    4) Still no luck? Check Amazon.com, Buy.com, Half.com and all major retailers. Shit even target and walmart have affiliate programs somewhere.
    5) Ok if you still haven’t found its either travel or something really fucking weird. If its travel try finding travel related affiliate networks. There are some HUGE ones like IAN.com.
    6) If its something really weird find someone that sells and contact them directly. Tell them what you do and you want to sell their stuff. You might be able to work out a direct deal with them.

If your still have not found ANYTHING you only option is to invent the product yourself because it dose not exist.

Possibilities are endless for sure no matter how odd, weird or gross! Thanks for the IAN.com network. I will def check them out. This is just another case of having an open mind and doing some research in online marketing.
