I was recently going though projects and decided to check up on my comment killer wordpress plugin. Sales have not been all that great and it really didn’t get the attention it needed marketing wise. But the product is sound and has really saved my ass on countless wordpress installs.
So in an effort to get the plugin out to more people I have lowered the price to $2.00 for the plugin and unlimited use. I really can’t think of a better way to spend two bucks I hope this new price will allow more people to try out this amazing plugin.

That’s a great price! On most of my blogs I don’t even allow comments. However, I am making some sites that I will have to purge through the spam to find the real comments. This seems like a great tool and I will definitely check it out.

I was looking at the sales page and wondered if you could allow specific names, websites or emails. Like adding them to the safe user list on email clients. No biggie but I was just wondering and thought that might be a good addition to the plugin.

While a good idea I don’t know of many people I would let/allow to post 3 to 6 links in my comments. But if you really thought it was a problem you could just tell your users in the comment field not to post more than x links.
The main reason for the plugin is when you forget akismet or if akismet fails you and you end up with 10k-100k spam comments waiting in moderation. CommentKiller can help weed out any real comments and just mass delete the crap so you never have to look at it.
