But if you really thought it was a problem you could just tell your users in the comment field not to post more than x links. The main reason for the plugin is when you forget akismet or if akismet fails you and you end up with 10k-100k spam comments waiting in moderation. CommentKiller can help weed out any real comments and just mass delete the crap so you never have to look at it.
